Going on a hike with my son, Norman, is bound to be entertaining and usually involves snakes. But here is what he said about this presumed black rat snake he found on Sunday at the Baker wetlands:"Something is wrong with this snake...
it's not biting me! "

Wrong snake thats the racer I am holding not the western (Black) rat snake. I still stand by the statement that the snake was sick or injured
